Projects

Three jobs, three kinds of client, same crew.

Every photo below is our own work. If you want to see one of these in person, ask and we will tell you where it is.

Waterfront homeowner

Dock, sundeck and covered lift on the Halifax River

A homeowner needed deep-water access off a seawall, a place to sit, and a covered slip for a center console. We drove new piles from the barge, framed a timber walkway out to a composite sundeck, and set a four-post lift under a boathouse roof.

What we did
  • New timber and pipe piles driven from the barge
  • Timber walkway with a composite sundeck platform
  • Open composite grating at the shoreline transition
  • Four-post lift with cradle, motors and remote
  • Boathouse roof over the slip

Residential community

Community boat ramp, seawall and boardwalk

A lakefront community had no safe way to launch. The work started with sheet pile on both sides of the ramp cut and ended with a timber boardwalk and black aluminum railing running out over the water. The slab was poured overnight, in one placement, under light towers.

What we did
  • Sheet pile seawall each side of the ramp cut
  • Excavation, dewatering and stone base
  • Formed slab with tied rebar mat
  • Overnight pour off a pump truck under lights
  • Timber boardwalk with black aluminum railing

Municipal

Public floating dock and gangway, Cedar Key

A city job on the Gulf side: an ADA-accessible aluminum gangway down to a floating dock with composite grating, on timber piles with black caps. Open to the public, inspected, and built to hold up in open water.

What we did
  • Timber piles driven with black protective caps
  • Aluminum gangway with handrail both sides
  • Floating dock with composite grating deck
  • Public access and life jacket station
